Beth.......you are talking about culture! We teach about this in Social Studies (Ohio culture, Michigan culture, California culture, Delaware culture, Hayes Culture, even disability culture!!)
You can be a guest speaker in November (AND the students have found a "tailgate" dip to make, and they know how to adjust the recipe to increase servings (math!!)
